It was a great pleasure to have in our faculty four members of Al-Andalus University for Medical Sciences from Siria under Erasmus program:
- Dr. Suzan Samra - Head of the International Relations Department - Faculty of Pharmacy;
- Dr. Sami Azrak - Vice Dean Faculty of Medicine - Cancer genetics and Molecular Biology;
- Dr. Basem Salim - Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry;
- Dr. Roula Alio - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing - Healthcare, Health Service management and leadership.
The visit was hosted by the Vice Dean of our faculty, Assoc. Prof. Zsolt Gáll, PhD, departmental coordinator for Erasmus program, Prof. Silvia Imre, PhD, and lecturer Ruxandra Ștefănescu, PhD, member of faculty PR committee.
After the fruitful discussions, the delegation visited the teaching facilities of the faculty and the Research Center for Medicinal Plants. During the tour, our colleagues prof. Corneliu Tanase, PhD, lecturer Valentin Ion, PhD, and lecturer Robert-Alexandru Vlad, PhD, were their guides.
We are confident on the potential of future collaborations on research, teaching and academic management levels after this visit.
